Welcome to Beyond the Sea Massage Therapy! I am Danielle Oates, Licensed Massage Therapist. I have 7+ years experience providing exceptional therapy to a wide variety of clientele. I am adept at creating personalized treatments for each unique individual. When clients enter the Beyond the Sea treatment room, it is also an opportnity to pause. This space is intentionally designed as a soothing respite. Please consider it an invitation to simply be in the moment, leaving the busyness of outside life behind during your visit. I have expertise in many massage modalities, often blending a combination of them as appropriate for treatment goals. I may use techniques from Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish/Relaxation, Mayofascial, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, and Cupping therapy. Each service begins connecting the body and mind; calming the nervous system. When we dwell in a peaceful state, healing has freedom to occur. I am a Reiki practitioner, as a well as continual student in search of unveiling the "authentic self". That's the person we are underneath the layers of living, and often hold, life's inevitable stress. I am also trained in Maternity Massage, a special experience for both Baby and Mama. This is one of my favorite modalities! Additionally, I am trained in and have experience volunteering hospice massage. I consider it a great honor to hold a space of comfort during this incredibly vulnerable time. The name Beyond the Sea was chosen by my son. He simply enjoys adventure and mystery; I feel it embodies the energy of life force healing. I envision the vastness of oceans, the wonders of Earth, outer space and beyond.
